iBUS at Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo 2017

In February 2nd and 3rd, 2017 iBUS has been part of the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo in Düsseldorf, Germany. It has been partly organized by Paderborn University (UPB) and therefore iBUS was very much involved in different sessions to achieve a broad dissemination. More than 200 attendants came along with deep interest, AM experiences and very fruitful discussions.

UPB and UL as partners in iBUS consortium participated with with three speeches about iBUS in general and more specific topics:

  • Con Sheahan (UL): iBus – An Integrated Business Model For Customer Driven Custom Product Supply Chain
  • Thomas Reiher (UPB): Product Optimization With Additive Manufacturing – From Aerospace To Everyday Applications
  • Ulrich Jahnke (UPB): Production Integrated Markings For Traceability Of AM Parts In The Context Of Industry 4.0
